Howie Good’s new e-book, Half-Life and Other Poems, is out from Ronin Press. Go check it out. It’s dark, depressing, and (somehow, maybe with a dash of guilt) a bit funny. It’s worth a look and it’s a good, quick read.

More than Five of these Fishes

Lake Sturgeon, a native fish of the Great Lakes, is a species in danger. They are running low on population and on hope. But, these fishes do not have to go out without a fight.
I came across a wonderful organization called Sturgeon for Tomorrow, which protects and raises awareness for these awesome, “living fossil” fishes. Please, go to the website and donate some cash. Becoming a member is only ten bucks, which even I can afford.
Do me and the fishes a favor by helping out with this great cause.

Weird Year

So, I have another up-and-coming flash fiction site to tell the world about: Weirdyear. Weirdyear does flash fiction — daily. Something hard to find these days. I recommend giving their site a look and maybe submitting something for them to look at.
